Traditional home cooked meals

We believe that meal times are an important part of the day, and as a team made up of catering and care staff we offer an eating experience that addresses individual choice, dietary requirements, presentation and variety to help the residents maintain their nutrition levels and well being.


A typical menu might include cereal or porridge for breakfast, pie and mash with vegetables at lunchtime followed by apple pie with custard, and soup and sandwiches in the evening.

Residents can choose to dine in the dining room or in their rooms if they prefer. We also serve tea or coffee mid-morning and mid-afternoon, and drinks accompanied by assorted cakes in the evening. The home has regular sherry mornings and themed events. Wine is offered with meals on special occasions.
